Proposed Features at Oak River Retreat

Oak River Retreat will be located along the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies. The serenity of being surrounded by God’s creation, combined with the absence of schedules make Oak River Retreat an ideal place for rest, relaxation and spiritual renewal. Services will include:

• A central lodge with a dining room, meeting rooms, and bedrooms for small groups
• Resource library including internet connection to facilitate study
• Individual cabins with a variety of features and settings, from solitary isolation to closely grouped together
• Each cabin will have a living area, full kitchen, and several bedrooms. Each cabin will also be fully furnished, including linens, cooking utensils, a washer, and a dryer.
• Luxury features such as a hot tub.

• Each cabin furnished with a prayer room to facilitate mediation and prayer.
• Breakfast for guests who desire to eat in the lodge dining area in a “bed and breakfast” style.
• Dinner for guests who desire to eat in the lodge dining area with a “family style” meal
• Numerous isolated outdoor locations to facilitate meditation and prayer.

• Hiking and biking trails.
• Horseback riding
• Location close to several major metropolitan areas (Colorado Springs and Denver) allowing shopping, dining, and visiting tourist attractions for guests who desire such activities.
